Waking up to cool air
We decided to take Thursday to just unwind, so we headed out after work on Wednesday to head to Dinosaur Valley State Park. We picked up dinner in Waco on the way and thousands of lightening bugs put on a show for us while we ate at our favorite spot to find them. We set up camp in the dark and got some star gazing in before bed. Overnight it got unexpectedly cool. So cool we had to get our sleeping bag out of the car about 3am (low to mid-60s in Texas in July!). In the morning we hiked and waded in the river, then headed in to Glenrose for lunch and check out some antique stores. We hit the jackpot and finally found an old schoolhouse milg glass light fixture that I had been hunting for Paula for over a year.
