Jesus walked in the winter
In the porch of David's son.
He answered to them their tempting
That He and the Father are one.
They would have stoned Him
But He having loved them
Gave a reason that they might believe.
He came unto us an example
Of how we ought to be.
Jesus came walking on the water,
And a fearful sight to see.
The disciples mistook Him for a spirit.
He said, "Fear not for it is Me."
Comfort He gave them,
So they welcomed Him to them
The Master of earth and sea.
He came unto us an example
Of how we ought to be.
Jesus walked with two disciples
Traveling the Emmaus road.
They knew not it was their Savior
They invited into their home.
Bread He broke with them
And their eyes were opened --
Their hearts burned with His teaching they agreed.
He came unto us an example
Of how we ought to be.
